Global Action to tackle climate change

First Minister Alex Salmond at Crystal Rig windfarm, East Lothian, Sept 7, 2007

Climate change is an issue affecting us all.

Only with a concerted global effort to curb the emissions of harmful greenhouse gases, to adapt to the changes in our climate, and to deliver a future where we live within our environmental limits, can we hope to avoid devastation across the world.

No one country can resolve climate change alone.

Scotland is determined to play its part in full, leading by example and inspiring action in others.
