Geese form part of Scotland's biodiversity and their migrations can be a useful tool to assist teachers. See our Satellite Tracking page where five Scottish schools followed the flight paths of geese from the Solway to the Arctic. The participating schools were Caerlaverock School, Cargenbridge School in Dumfries, Kirkbean School, Castle Douglas School, and Belmont School in Stranraer.

A range of associated education materials are available to build on this.
