Flooding Bill Advisory Group - Flood Risk Management Planning Sub-Group 
The Flood Risk Management Planning sub-group is advising the SG on proposals for flood risk management planning. This will help us transpose the flood planning requirements of the Floods directive as well as create a framework to implement sustainable flood management.
The sub-group is considering how different levels of plans might be used to identify national flood risk priorities as well as establish a framework for planning, financing and delivering measures at a local level. Members are also reflecting on how to link these different levels of plans and how they might take account of other plans, such as development plans and be taken account of in other strategic and local plans.
