The Scottish Government has published the Land Use Strategy Action Plan which sets out how the 13 Proposals in the Land Use Strategy will be taken forward. The Action Plan has been developed by Scottish Government and its partners and we will work together to take forward its implementation.
The Action Plan brings together an integrated set of commitments from across Government policy, all of which contribute to the Government's long term agenda on land use. We believe that the Land Use Strategy is the first of its kind in Europe and the Action Plan also breaks new ground by bringing together for the first time all our land use related commitments under a single unifying framework. The Action Plan will be maintained in light of progress, stakeholder feedback and other developments.
The Scottish Government published the first annual Progress Statement in June 2012. The second annual Progress Statement is expected June 2013.
