A few ideas to get you started…
- An exhibition of pupils' art and craftwork. Why not invite people in to see their work?
- A pupil competition to design a new flag, crest or emblem for the school.
- A performance of music, dance or drama - or all three!
- A talent show.
- A sports competition. Pit pupils against parents or teachers.
- A short-story or poetry contest. Ask your local newspaper to publish the winning entry.
- A joint celebration with schools you are twinned with around the world.
These are just a handful of ideas. You and your pupils will have many more, so get your thinking caps on.
