School Estate Strategy Working Group
The remit of the joint Scottish Government / Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) School Estate Strategy Working Group (SESWG) is to develop a new school estate strategy, as recommended in the Audit Scotland report, Improving the school estate. The intention is that the Working Group will meet at least monthly, with a view to publishing a new strategy in spring 2009.
The current membership of the Working Group is comprised as follows: Robert Nicol, COSLA, co-chair; Eileen Gill, Scottish Government, co-chair; Laura Jamieson, COSLA; Dave Jones, Society of Local Authority Chief Executives; Murdo Maciver, Association of Directors of Education Scotland (ADES); Moira Niven, ADES. The Secretariat is being provided by the Scottish Government.
