Glasgow City

Glasgow, with a population of around 580,690, is Scotland's largest city, situated in the central belt of Scotland on the west coast. The Council has an area of 175 square kilometres. There are 246 publicly funded schools, including 170 primaries, 30 secondaries and 46 special schools. 67,392 pupils attend these schools, including 37,831 primary pupils, 27,876 secondary pupils and 1,685 special needs pupils.
