East Renfrewshire

East Renfrewshire is located to the south of the City of Glasgow and is bordered by East Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, South Lanarkshire, Glasgow and North Ayrshire. East Renfrewshire covers an area of approximately 174 square kilometres and is one of the smallest local authority areas in Scotland with a population of 89,290. There are 32 publicly funded schools, including 24 primaries, 7 secondaries and 1 special school. 16,241 pupils attend these schools, including 8,371 primary pupils, 7,804 secondary pupils and 66 special needs pupils.
