7. Service planning
7.1 Introduction
Once you have gathered information about the needs and experiences of equalities groups in CLD activity, you can begin to plan your services accordingly. This section covers both strategic and operational issues. Different sections will be of value to different people:
- Strategic service planning - this section is mainly targeted at those involved in CLD Partnerships, and who are planning service delivery at a local authority wide level. This information also covers the planning of services for specific equalities group across the local authority area.
- Operational service planning - this section is intended for use by staff and volunteers involved in delivering CLD activity. It focuses on key issues to consider when planning services for equalities groups.
