4. Equality and best practice
4.1 Introduction
The previous chapter sets out the basic responsibilities of CLD providers in delivering their services. However, equality should not just be about what you have to do under law. All services should be planned and delivered based on ensuring that all communities, groups and individuals have access to the services they need and want.
This chapter gives you more information on best practice in equality as it relates to the community learning and development field.
