About Futureskills Scotland
Futureskills Scotland is part of the Analytical Services Division of the Scottish Government's Education Directorate. It currently has a team of three professional staff. Futureskills Scotland's aims are to:
- Analyse the Scottish labour market to inform policy making in Scotland and further afield
- Improve access to labour market information and intelligence through the web tools Key Indicators and Research Online
- Provide a national context to underpin the research activities of key Scottish stakeholders
Futureskills' work is directed at a wide range of users, from beginners to experts. Analysis is presented in a user-friendly, clear and accessible manner using robust and reliable information.
