1st meeting

• Held on 21 November 2008, St Andrew's House, Edinburgh.

• Council members in attendance: Professor John Kay, Professor Alexander Kemp and Lord Smith. Frances Cairncross took part via teleconference.

• In attendance: David Wilson, Colin Imrie, Fiona Robertson, Dr Jennifer Steedman, Lucy Proud and Dr Andrew Goudie.

• Total travel/accommodation cost: £62.90 (travel cost for Professor Alexander Kemp).

2nd meeting

• Held on 23 March 2009, St Andrew's House, Edinburgh.

• Council members in attendance: Professor John Kay, Professor Alexander Kemp, Lord Smith and Frances Cairncross.

• In attendance: David Wilson, Dr Jennifer Steedman, Dr Andrew Goudie and Jennifer Erickson.

• Total travel/accommodation cost: £558.55. This can be broken down as:

The Council has commissioned external studies into the following:

• Levelised Unit Costs of Electricity Generation Technologies.

• International Approaches to the Treatment of VAT.

• The Scottish Government has not yet been invoiced for either of the above.
