The Scottish Economic Consultants' Group (SECG) is an important forum for the Executive in gathering new perspectives on the economic challenges facing Scotland.
The SECG, which is chaired by the Chief Economic Adviser at the Scottish Executive, brings together a group of economists and others with a professional interest in the performance of the Scottish economy.
External membership includes individuals from the business community, academia, the STUC and the wider public sector, including Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
