Leader+

The aim of the Leader+ Programme is to promote innovative strategies for integrated sustainable development for all rural areas of Scotland. For the 2000-2006 the programme will fund local pilot rural development strategies addressing four themes: use of new know-how and technology; improving the quality of life in rural areas; adding value to local produce;and making the best use of natural and cultural resources.

UrbanII

The objectives of the Urban II programme are to encourage the design and implementation of highly innovative economic and social regeneration strategies, and exchange knowledge and experience on regeneration and sustainable urban development.
