The European Commission have agreed the use of a new Scottish style EU logo.
This is to be used to publicise projects approved for funding under the new Scottish European Structural Funds Programmes for 2000-2006.
The new logo promotes the concept of Europe and Scotland: Making it work together.
- The publicity/promotion of European Union assistance through the Structural Funds is a condition of grant and is explained in the publicity guidance issued with each offer of grant.
- These publicity guidelines are intended to be read in conjunction with the general guidance published by the European Commission in Regulation 1159/2000 of May 2000 (pdf - 120KB)
The logo with the strap line "Europe and Scotland Making it work together" is intended for general use in promoting European Structural Fund activity within Scotland.
The other version which includes the words " PROJECT PART-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION - Europe and Scotland Making it work together" alongside the logo, is the format which must be used to publicise all projects which have been awarded European Structural Fund grant assistance under the 2000-2006 round of programmes.
