The full proceedings of the third Business in the Parliament Conference have now been published. The conference took place on the evening of Thursday 2 November 2006 and the morning of Friday 3 November in the Scottish Parliament. The focus of this year's event was a discussion of the key challenges that face Scottish businesses during the next parliamentary session and identification of the policies and actions that are needed to address those challenges.
The broad themes this year included Scotland's infrastructure, innovation, skills and sustainable development. The format included an evening reception to stimulate discussion and networking, followed by a conference on the next day with a mixture of plenary and break-out sessions to address the main themes.
