The full Proceedings of the fifth Business in the Parliament Conference will soon be published. The event took place on 18-19 June, 2009 at the Scottish Parliament and its theme was: "Innovating for the Upturn".
The event comprised a dinner and networking opportunity for delegates, Ministers and MSPs on the evening of Thursday 18 June, followed by the conference on Friday 19th. During the conference, delegates heard from a range of speakers and participated in a series of discussion groups focusing on topics including skills utilisation, innovative regulation and growing businesses in Scotland to mention just a few.
