Application
Following the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and formulation of an Environmental Statement (ES), the developer can lodge a formal application. There is no standard application form but the submission should include:
- a letter requesting consent and deemed planning permission
- a map showing the land to which the application relates
- if required, an environmental statement
- the application fee
An application must be advertised for 2 successive weeks in one or more local newspapers, in the Edinburgh Gazette for one week and in one or more national newspapers for one week.
