Convenors Meeting

On 24th and 25th June 2009, the first meeting of all Planning Convenors from across Scotland took place in St Andrews. The agenda included the following talks. Links to presentations are provided where power point was used.

Feedback from the event was extremely positive. Convenors welcomed the opportunity to meet with their peers from across the country, to be able to ask questions and to discuss how the system is operated differently. It is intended that this will therefore become an annual event.

Roadshows

In Spring 2009, six Delivering Planning Reform road shows were held across Scotland.

• DPR roadshow for presentations, a summary note of the events, and Questions & Answers.

Service Improvement Plans

In Delivering Planning Reform key public sector planning stakeholders have committed to producing Service Improvement Plans. These plans consider how the planning service in the relevant organisation is delivered and identify actions to improvement it.
