Apply Online For Planning Permission

The ePlanning website allows you to complete and submit a planning application directly to your planning authority*. The website provides standard, easy to use forms and guides you through thr process in simple steps. The website also allows you to appeal if your application is refused.

ePlanning enables you to:

  • Purchase a location plan
  • Use the checklist to ensure all the required information is provided
  • Attach plans, drawings and other documents to support the application
  • Use the fee calculator to help calculate the correct fee
  • Create an account to allow further applications to be made
  • Share the planning information with neighbours, clients, or colleagues
Tracking Progress

Once your application has been received by the planning authority, progress can be tracked on your planning authority's website.

Planning appeals can be tracked from the Scottish Government's Directorate for Planning and Environmental Appeals webpage's.
