Planning Authorities

Planning in Scotland is essentially a local function and the planning authority in your local area should be your first point of contact for all planning applications and enquiries. It's helpful to discuss any proposals before you make an application. Use the links to get in touch with your authority.
Authorities have three main planning duties: Development Management, Development Planning and Enforcement.
