*Communities Scotland was abolished on 1 April 2008. On that date, most of its non-regulatory functions were transferred to the Scottish Government's Housing and Regeneration directorate. The Older Guidance Notes section hosts other Communities Scotland guidance which may still be relevant.

National HAG Subsidy Target Benchmark
This guidance note explains the application of the HAG Subsidy Target regime as outlined in the Housing Association Grant Procedures Guide, explains the National HST Benchmark of £73,000 against which individual projects (or Route 1 programmes) will be assessed in 2008/09 and contains, in the associated workbook, the data and calculations used in obtaining the new National HST Benchmark.

This guidance note tells you about interim arrangements put in place on 5 April 2008 in connection with the administration of the New Supply Shared Equity scheme and the original Open Market Shared Equity Pilot scheme in Edinburgh and the Lothians. (Separate arrangements are being put in place for the current Open Market Shared Equity Pilot scheme, which is not covered by this guidance note.)
