The Scottish Government works to improve the standard of information and advice provision throughout Scotland. To do this we support providers of information and advice services including the following:
- Development and promotion of the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers. For more information about the Standards contact us.
- The Guide to Housing Options in Scotland which gives information on a range of Housing Options in Scotland. This includes housing from local authorities, housing associations and the provision of special needs groups.
Basic housing text in a range of languages for the use of providers of information and advice is available in the Directory of Information and Advice Providers (requiring a password which can be obtained by contacting us). This gives descriptions of housing information and advice providers in Scotland to assist local authorities in strategic planning.
