What is the New Supply Shared Equity scheme?
Under the New Supply Shared Equity scheme, the Scottish Government gives grants to registered social landlords - normally a housing association or housing co-operative - to help them build or buy new homes for sale. A brochure Low-cost Initiative for First Time Buyers: New Supply Shared Equity contains more detailed information.
The Scottish Government is working with registered social landlords across the country to confirm locations for New Supply Shared Equity homes. You can get details about current projects and the registered social landlords participating in the scheme in the following areas:
East Region (includes Edinburgh, Fife, Lothian, Borders, Angus, Perth & Kinross, Stirling)
North Region (includes Highlands & Islands, Grampian)
West Region (includes Argyll & Bute, Glasgow, Inverclyde)
