Home Report Implementation Group

The Home Report Implementation Group includes representatives of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Law Society of Scotland, the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the National Association of Estate Agents, the Scottish Consumer Council and the Scottish Government. It has been set up to ensure that members of the professions involved in the home buying and selling process are aware of the changes being introduced.

The main roles for the group are:

  • to provide assistance and advice on the implementation of the Home Report where required
  • to ensure that members of organisations represented on the Implementation Group are kept informed of their responsibilities and the progress of the implementation of the Home Report; and
  • to co-ordinate training and awareness sessions for the Home Report for their members.

We will keep you updated with information on training events arranged by the organisations represented on the Home Report Implementation Group.
