Sub Group B Co-opted Members have a remit to
Individuals buying and selling property.
To consider options to:
- Ensure that buyers have accurate information on the
condition of the property they are purchasing
- Ensure that the buyers and sellers do not face
unnecessary costs or delays in the buying and selling
process
- Ensure that buyers have good quality information on
the running costs of the houses they purchase,
including their rights and obligations
- Ensure that the current high levels of satisfaction
with the house buying and selling system in Scotland
are sustained in the future
- Address any equalities issues in the buying and
selling of houses
