Options to strengthen the tenancy regime to
provide greater support for tenants and landlords
in improving housing conditions
Paper SGC2/30-05-02 provides a framework for considering the
options to improve the legal framework for rented
accommodation to strengthen the obligations on
landlords to provide property in a fit
condition.
Improving the quality of the private rented
sector by strengthening regulation of landlords and
properties
Paper SGC3/30-05-02 sets out the possible elements and key
questions in relation to regulation of the private
rented sector.
