Projects

Assimilating and putting into effect all of the policy and procedures associated with public sector construction procurement programmes or projects (e.g. new build/extensions/refurbishment/asset management/estate strategies) can appear daunting or at least not without its challenges, especially for clients undertaking this role for the first time. It may be reassuring to know therefore that these client functions should not be carried out in isolation. CAPD can provide professional support as well as advice about appropriate training. Advice from CAPD can be given initially, and also throughout the duration of the project as required.

Assembling the right Team with the appropriate skills and experience is critical to the successful outcome of all programmes and projects. Guidance in the form of the Construction Procurement Manual is available but it may be prudent to seek advice from CAPD in the first instance, especially if you are unsure of the complexity/scale of the project that you are undertaking. Please get in touch by contacting CAPD.
