Regulation 40 of The Building (Procedures)(Scotland) Regulations 2004 obliges scheme providers to make available the necessary information to Scottish Ministers for an evaluation of the discharge of functions by members of the scheme.
Building Standards Division has been appointed to audit the operation of certification schemes. The division investigates the management of the scheme with reference to Part VII of The Building (Procedures)(Scotland) Regulations 2004, the certification handbook and the requirements set out in the scheme guide, the certification handbook and the requirements set out in the scheme guide.
