On 1 October 2010, the new 2010 versions of the Technical Handbooks will come into force. Prior to their introduction, Building Standards Division have organised a series of one day seminars to be held in their Denholm House offices in Livingston.

• Procedural Guidance on Certification including Information to be submitted with a Building Warrant Application

The guidance is to assist Approved Certifiers and Verifiers when dealing with building warrant applications supported by Certification of Design.

• Legislation and 2010 Technical Handbook Changes from October 1, 2010

Amendments to the building regulations under the Building (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 come into force on October 1, 2010. The new 2010 Technical Handbooks are now available.
