Focus: Entitlements Manifesto - all sectors of the community, with a particular commitment to work in partnership with all equalities groups (e.g. black and minority ethnic, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, older people, and disabled and deprived communities).
Objective: an entitlements agenda for culture and sport was developed and consulted on, leading to an endorsed statement with realistic delivery proposals. The project committed to working closely in partnership with all sections of the community, while using new, tailored approaches to engage the 'hard to reach' and marginalised groups mentioned above. It also engaged the Community Planning Partnership and several council depts.
