Scottish Government Sports and Games Legacy Division
The Sport And Games Legacy Division in the Scottish Government is headed by Kate Vincent. Within the Division there are three teams:
Sports Team covering a wide range of sport issues eg Reaching Higher,(the national strategy for sport) Elite sport, Local, Regional and National, facilities, participation in sport, Cashback for communities, Volunteering in sport, sectarianism in sport, Active Schools Programme, Safety of, and alcohol controls at, sports grounds, Coaching including UK Coaching Certificate, Drug fee sport and the sponsorship of sportscotland.
Games Legacy Team, which co-ordinates the development and delivery of a Games Legacy Plan from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London in 2012.
Games Delivery Team, which supports the delivery of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
