Bluetongue Stakeholder Group
Stakeholder meetings provide a mechanism for direct communication between the Scottish Government and stakeholders, particularly in disseminating current issues to their membership and providing a sounding board to inform policy development and implementation.
A well established Animal Health and Welfare stakeholder group meets regularly to discuss a range of issues but where a more focussed approach is required sub-groups may be established to deal with specific issues. A Bluetongue Stakeholders group has been formed to deal with issues surrounding the Bluetongue virus. The minutes from these meetings can be accessed at the links at the foot of this page.
