"The Scottish Executive will make available in 2001/02
systems for producers to submit their Suckler Cow Premium
Scheme and Sheep Annual Premium Scheme claims
electronically. This will be extended to the Area Aid
Application, the Arable Area Payments Scheme and other
livestock schemes in 2002/03, and to other SEERAD schemes
in 2003/04."
Progress
All of the above targets have been met and, in some
cases, exceeded with enhancements to the original roll-out.
Following the CAP reform agreement, these schemes will
cease. They will be replaced by the new Single Farm Payment
scheme (SFPS) and Scottish Beef Calf Scheme (SBCS) in 2005
and producers will be able to manage all aspects of their
participation in these schemes online.
