The Scottish Executive Organic Action Plan was published in February 2003 and was developed in consultation with the Organic Stakeholders Group.
The Plan committed the Scottish Executive to helping the Scottish Organic Sector achieve its potential to supply at least 70% of Scottish demand for organic products that can be produced here by 2007.
The Action Plan also discussed improvements to the Organic Aid Scheme and the promotion of a joined-up organic food chain and increased access to Scottish organic products in the market place.
We are now taking the Action Plan forward.
