Responses to the consultation on NUTS boundaries
The Equality Act 2010 introduced a new public sector equality duty. It sets out a ‘general duty’ which requires public authorities (including police forces) to pay “due regard” to the need to eliminate discrimination, advance equality, and foster good relations across a range of ‘protected characteristics’.
