The draft amending regulations propose to:
• replace the existing provisions in the The Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 (Assistance to Registered Social landlords and Other Persons) (Grants) Regulations 2004 relating to GRO with provisions relating to Partnership Support for Regeneration (“PSR”).;
• add a new kind of grant assistance, called Innovation and Investment Fund (IIF) grants to the classes of assistance that may be provided by local authorities under the The Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 (Assistance to Registered Social landlords and Other Persons) (Grants) Regulations 2004;
• make some amendments to Schedule 1 of the The Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 (Assistance to Registered Social landlords and Other Persons) (Grants) Regulations 2004(provisions applicable to HAG grants) to take account of certain changes brought about by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010.
