The overall aim of a tenant information pack is to put in place a framework that ensures that tenants are given all the information that they need in order to be aware of their general and
specific rights and responsibilities and those of their landlords in the private rented sector.
The questions in the consultation are divided into two sections -
• Specifying the information within a tenant information pack
• What the pack should look like and how it will work in practice
The responses to the questions will help us to develop regulations to bring the Tenant Information Pack into effect in Scotland.
