On 19 May 2010, the Scottish Government launched a consultation on the Draft Development Plan for Offshore Wind Energy Developments in Scottish Territorial Waters and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Environmental Report. The consultation was open for responses until 27 September 2010.

A total of 856 responses to the consultation were received. Of these, 119 were responses by organisations and 737 by individuals. The responses where permission to publish was provided are listed below.
