The research findings is a summary of the analysis of responses to a consultation on Private sector housing issues for possible inclusion in the Housing (Scotland) Bill. The consultation proposed changes in three different areas of private housing law, landlord registration, Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMO) licensing, and powers in the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 for local authorities to deal with disrepair in privately owned houses.

The aim of this guidance is to prevent and control the spread of ragwort where there is a threat to the health and welfare of animals.

This is the fifth ‘Key Findings’ Report since the SHCS changed to a continuous format in 2003. Prior to 2003, surveys were conducted in 1991, 1996 and 2002 and typically consisted of about 15,000 paired social interviews and physical surveys.
