| Description: | On 27 February 2009 Stewart Stevenson, Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change, announced the intention that new building standards for homes and non-domestic buildings to be introduced in October next year by the Scottish Government would reduce carbon emissions by 30 per cent beyond current standards.
