Why use a statutory Quality Partnership?
1.6 A sQP is a very flexible tool which can be used to address a range of issues that includes patronage growth, modal shift, air quality, service quality, vehicle improvement and improved customer service.
1.7 Due to its flexibility it is essential that the transport authority clearly states what changes they wish to make to the provison of bus services in their area and develop these into specific aims and objectives.
1.8 The aims and objectives will then be used to design a sQP, based on the specified facilities to be provided by the authority and the specified standard of local services which operators are required to provide.
