Additional quality assurance of these data has identified some primary schools in Angus and Eilean Siar which had not previously been included in national nor respective Local Authority totals. The scale and size of the revisions is minor, however the 2008 statistics presented in tables 1, 2, 3, 4a, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 20 have been slightly revised.
As part of the quality assurance of these data, a separate error was identified in Tables 12 and 18 which presented percentages for pupils registered for free school meals rather than pupils registered for free school meals and present. This has now been rectified.
Furthermore, an error was identified in Table 23 relating to breakfast clubs. Aberdeenshire had 19 breakfast clubs in primary schools rather than nil reported earlier.
A final revisions related to the 'free chilled water' figures for the trial authorities (Table 20 and 22). The published percentage uptake figure should have been 97% and not 87% as reported.
