Foreword

On 10 February 2009 First Minister Alex Salmond MSP announced changes to the Scottish Government. Linda Fabiani MSP was replaced by Michael Russell MSP, who is now Minister for Culture, External Affairs and the Constitution. Mr Russell's portfolio is located within the Office of the First Minister and he retains his predecessor's responsibilities for the Scots language.
