5 Financial Aspects of HIAL's Operation

5.1 HIAL currently operates 11 airports, with Dundee Airport added to their portfolio on 1 December 2007. Inverness is by some distance the largest Airport of the 11, accounting for over half of the 1.27 million passengers who passed through HIAL's airports in 2007/08. Details of the annual passenger throughput for the past three years, the operating result for 2006-07 and capital expenditure undertaken are set out in Appendix 1. Appendix 2 offers further details on each of the 11 airports.
