Responses

1. This chapter of the consultation report looks at the range of responses that were received to the consultation.

2. In total, almost 2000 consultation documents were sent out during the consultation period as well as the document being available for download through the Scottish Government web site.

3. While the distribution of the consultation naturally took in those with an involvement in the NHS landscape, it also sought to capture views from more diverse groups. This included a distribution to Regional Tenants Organisations that covered more than 650 groups across the country. In total, almost 1400 consultation documents were sent out at the launch of the consultation with almost 600 more copies requested during the course of the consultation period. The document was also available on the Scottish Government web site.
