The proportion of people aged 16 to 69 who are no longer in continuous full-time education but participated in some type of adult learning (taught or non-taught) in the last year was estimated to be 68.4% in 2006.
In 2006, Edinburgh City had the highest adult learning proportion (estimated at 79.6%) and Glasgow City had the lowest adult learning proportion (estimated at 57.9%).
