INTRODUCTION
This Scoping Report has been prepared in accordance with the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005. Its purpose is to set out sufficient information on SPP14 'Natural Heritage' to enable the Consultation Authorities to form a view on the appropriateness of the proposed consultation period and methods, and on the scope and level of detail that will be appropriate for the Environmental Report.
