36. An operator may make representations to the Sheriff against a decision made by the authority that the Regulations apply. The operator must lodge an appeal to the Sheriff within 21 days or the period specified by the authority on receipt of a written assessment of the imminent threat or damage'. The determination of the Sheriff on an appeal will be final.
