Who is the authority?
33. To make policing the Regulations simply there are three designated Competent Authorities which may require other persons to provide them with any support they feel necessary.
- protected species or natural habitats other than in the marine environment, Scottish Natural Heritage ( SNH),
- water (up to 3 nautical miles offshore) and land within permitted sites, SEPA
- protected species or natural habitats in the marine environment, Scottish Ministers,
